President Marissa Price
Marissa is a senior, double majoring in international affairs and anthropology. She is an only child but has always grown up with many fur babies as her siblings. She became a vegetarian when she was 6 and realized McDonald’s happy meals came from cows. She interned with the Humane Society Legislative Fund last summer where she lobbied for animal protection legislation and helped launch a ballot initiative in Maine for Fair Bear Hunting. She also does theatre with GW’s Generic Theatre Company.
Vice President David Myerson
David is a Marine Corps veteran and sophomore at the Elliot School studying International Affairs. He joined GW Animal Advocates because he decided the way we treat animals doesn’t speak very highly of us as humans. He’s also a community advocate for the organization LIFT and an amateur bartender and barista.
Community Outreach Coordinator Delaney Roulett
Delaney is a freshman in the School of Business with an undecided major. She has a passion for animals and has two cats back home. Through GW Animal Advocates, She hopes to improve the welfare of all animals within the Washington, D.C. area and increase involvement among students and the public.
Public Relations Chair Natalie Cleveland
Natalie Cleveland is a sophomore majoring in International Affairs and Political Science. As a native Pacific Northwesterner, she comes from Portland, the vegan capital of the US– where she gets her cruelty-free eating inspiration! In addition to FaceTiming her two cats, Natalie’s hobbies include dancing at GW and being involved in local politics.
